As you may know we're very proud supporters of the Kidney Wales Cardiff 10K and help in the form of providing the event's necessary vehicles.
This year a record number of runners turned out for this year’s Cardiff 10K and 2K. Over 6,000 professional athletes, runners and fundraisers took to the streets of Cardiff city centre to take on this year’s Cardiff 10K and 2K, in a celebration of fun, fitness and fundraising and we're overjoyed that we could be even a small part of that!
Not many people know it but the Cardiff 10K event is actually over 30 years old now and growing year on year. At the moment there isn't a fixed date for the 2017 race, however, we've been told by the hardworking organisers of this event that they're looking to increase the capacity and grow the race for next year. The Cardiff 10K has become one of the biggest fundraising activities for Kidney Wales and so the more runners that take part, the more money Kidney Wales gets, the more families are supported and the more lives of people living with kidney disease will change for the better.
Thanks to everyone who took part in the fun this year and we really hope you’ll join us and the Cardiff 10K team at next year’s race, we’ll keep you updated on dates and how you can join in!
